PURPOSE OF THE SITE
The Hakanto Contemporary website aims to provide information regarding the activities of the art centre, its current and forthcoming exhibitions, the artists it supports, its publications, as well as its cultural news.
ACCESS TO THE SITE
Access to the site is free for any user with an internet connection. All costs associated with access (computer hardware, software, internet connection) are borne exclusively by the user.
The publisher endeavours to allow access to the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except in cases of force majeure or an event beyond Hakanto Contemporary's control, and subject to possible breakdowns and maintenance interventions necessary for the proper functioning of the site (for example, during the rollout of a new artistic season).
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND RESPECT FOR COPYRIGHT
The website and each of its component elements (in particular exhibition photographs, reproductions of artworks, drawings, texts, logos and the visual identity) are protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
The artworks and graphic creations presented on this site remain the exclusive property of their respective authors (the artists and/or their rightful claimants).
The user undertakes to respect these rights:
REPRODUCTION AND MODIFICATION PROHIBITED — Any reproduction, representation, modification or adaptation of all or part of the site's elements, by any means whatsoever, is strictly forbidden without the prior written permission of Hakanto Contemporary or the artist concerned.
DOWNLOADING OF IMAGES PROHIBITED — The downloading of images of artworks for commercial purposes, public dissemination or modification is strictly forbidden.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The information disseminated on the site is provided for informational purposes only. Although Hakanto Contemporary strives to disseminate accurate and up-to-date information (notably exhibition dates, curatorial texts and contact details), inadvertent errors or omissions may occur.
Hakanto Contemporary's liability shall not be incurred in the event of:
DAMAGE RELATED TO ACCESSING THE SITE — Direct or indirect damage resulting from access to the site, its use or the impossibility of accessing it.

Hakanto Contemporary reserves the right to amend, at any time and without notice, these terms of use in order to adapt them to developments in the site, regulations or its activities.
APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION
Both this site and the terms and conditions of its use are governed by the laws applicable in Madagascar. In the event of a dispute or litigation, and after any attempt to reach an amicable solution has failed, the competent courts of Antananarivo shall have sole jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
